Plant a tree for the Platinum Jubilee.

The children of Little Willows Nursery join with the Deputy Mayor of Bath Michelle O’Doherty and guests to planting their cherry tree to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. 

To celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee the Royal Commonwealth Society Bath and District Branch joined together with Little Willows Nursery in Bath to organise their very own tree planting ceremony on Thursday 28th June. Michelle O’Doherty the current Deputy Mayor came along to help with proceedings and together with the children, parents and guests enjoy planting an ornamental cherry kindly supplied by Prior Park Garden Centre who also sent along staff to prepare the site and finish off filling in the hole! Also present at the event was Godfrey Hall Chair of the RCS Bath and District Branch and Steve Ojomoh from Nigeria ,former Bath and England rugby player and owner of the nursery.
