Over 200 people joined with members of the RCS Bath and District Branch at a Commonwealth Service held on March 12th at Bath Abbey. The service which included the reading of the Commonwealth Affirmations was followed by the launch of the Bi-annual Art Competition for 2023-2024 entitled Moon Gazers and Star Finders. The Commonwealth Day celebrations which were held on the following day at Westminster Abbey were attended by the chair of the branch Godfrey Hall and a Commonwealth scholar from Nigeria Yemi Adeyanju who is studying at the University of Bath.
Also present were King Charles III, the Queen Consort Camilla and members of the royal family, together with schools, High Commissioners and representatives from various Commonwealth organisations.
