The RCS Bath and District Branch would like to invite you to a special lunch and talk by the founders and trustees of the impressive Festival Medical Services

Festival Medical Services provides the medical back up for a number of major festivals and events in this country including Glastonbury and Reading. They have won the Queens Award for Voluntary Services and raised large funds for medical projects and charitable ventures around the world including Vanuatu,

part of the Commonwealth.They have also worked in some of the most dangerous countries in the world including Afganistan and Haiti.

This is a unique opportunity to meet some of the team and  learn more about what they have achieved  in a very short space of time. Festival Medlcal Services are a local organisation based in Somerton in Somerset and have a pool of around 1500 medical vounteers consisting of NHS  doctors, paramedics and clinical staff.

Field Medical Services is a fascinating story of how one local doctor went on to create a medical facility that is now a ‘global player’. 


The cost  is £25.00 from members, £28 for non-members and £12.50 for students.

 Talk only. Free for students, £5 for others.
