The RCS Bath and District Branch invites primary schools in the BA area to participate in a new project called “Heroes of the Commonwealth”.
Schools will be able to choose a hero to adopt from a selected line-up of extraordinary service people on display at 44 AD artspace gallery. Pupils will carry out research and then create a collaborative piece of artwork that they feel best represents their hero.
The creations will be displayed in an exclusive exhibition at 44 AD artspace gallery in November 2022. There will also be a special service held at Bath Abbey for participating schools, which will include families and friends of their selected heroes along with dignitaries such as the President of RCS Bath and District Branch and the Mayor of Bath.
