RCS Bath and District Xmas Lunch 2021

On December 2nd thirty-five members and friends joined together at the popular Bath Cricket Club for the annual RCS Bath and District Xmas Lunch. A favourite venue guests included Neil Dowdney Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Somerset, Dr Janet Rose Principal of Norland College, Janet Kirk from the African Society in Bristol and our speaker Richard Grundy and his wife. Richard Co-Chair of the Tristan da Cunha Association gave a fascinating illustrated talk after the lunch on the island, its history and Nothing Can Stop Us his new book which was written together with Neil Robson. A large number of Commonwealth students were also present at the traditional Christmas lunch which was one of the first events since the outbreak of Covid 19.
